Andria Anderson, MOT
Connecting, collaborating and guiding families through the bumps in life is where my passion falls. Over the past nine years I have grown my love for working with children and their families through my work in the Mental Health Programs at BC Children’s Hospital. Combining my passion for Occupational Therapy with being a mom of two busy boys fostered the creation of Collective Therapy. Thinking outside the box in how therapy services can meet a busy family’s needs and creating a community of parent-to-parent support, is my vision moving forward for our Collective family.
My areas of expertise fall within self-regulation, challenging behaviours, sensory processing issues, neurodevelopment disorders, developmental coordination disorder, anxiety, learning difficulties, and motor development (fine and gross motor skills).
As I continue to work part time for BC Children’s Hospital, I also reserve time to work privately with families in the Burnaby and Tri-cities areas of the lower mainland. I am available to consult with families all over BC via phone or video conferencing.
Send me an email and lets discuss how we can work together.
