Managing Big Feelings


This class is for any parent looking to better understand their child’s behaviours and learn more about how to help them manage their big feelings.

Being able to self-regulate is the ability to be calm, organized and emotionally balanced through the day. This class will help parents understand self-regulation and what they can do to help their kids learn how to manage their big feelings and reactions. Lessons will cover what parents can look for when kids are becoming dysregulated and practical strategies (for home and school) to help get them back on track.

Parents will finish this class feeling more confident in their ability to anticipate their child’s emotional needs and help them learn to understand and manage their big feelings.
